Event Highlights

Volunteer Futures & BCACG Symposium on September 26 & 27 was a jam-packed event with an inspiring keynote, practical workshops and relevant sessions with plenty of opportunities to network with colleagues from across BC.

We had 15 speakers and 11 sessions to choose from. Topics from leadership & media relations skills, recruiting fundraising champions, Community Gaming Grant tips to tech tools to engage volunteers – there was a lots to learn from these incredible speakers.

Here’s some favourite moments from #VFBS2019

Keynote – David Gouthro presented an interactive and humourous presentation on the Courage to Lead – we all have the skills to lead regardless of the circumstances you find yourself in!

Another fun-filled session was with cat-lover Liza Dryer – Tech Tools to Train, Engage and Inspire Volunteers!
