FOUNDATIONS OF FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT FOR NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
January 20, 2020 – April 10, 2020
Volunteer Victoria is excited to offer this unique opportunity! Take part in a cohort style learning opportunity to enhance and expand your knowledge of what it takes to successfully manage the finances of a non-profit/charitable organization.
During the 12 weeks you will have access to an online platform of detailed course materials. In addition, you will attend 3 face-to-face meetings where you will meet your facilitator, ask questions and engage in meaningful conversations about the topics. Your facilitator will also present some bonus topics including reading financial statements, privacy and fraud considerations and other current topics of interest in the sector.
At the end of this course, participants should be able to plan for, oversee and implement the financial requirements of operating a non-profit organization.

Board responsibilities and roles, Fiduciary Duties, Banking, Government Responsibilities and reporting, Human Resources, Financial Policies and Procedures, Budgeting and more.
