FCSSBC & Volunteer BC Volunteer Management Webinar: Volunteer Management with a Pandemic Lens
May 31 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
The impact that volunteers and volunteerism have on the community social services sector is undeniable. And it and has been on particular display over the past year as you have responded to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This webinar, offered in partnership with Volunteer BC, will give a brief overview of how organizations can plan their volunteer programs to meet new and emerging community needs. It will also take into account the impact of the pandemic and how COVID-19 has affected the planning of volunteer programs and the recruitment, engagement, and retention of volunteers.
This webinar is supported by funding from the Community Social Services Training Fund—an initiative by the Province of British Columbia to respond to the training and development needs of those who work with some of BC’s most vulnerable people. Learn more about these other initiatives here.
This webinar will take place in advance of the Volunteer Management Workshops and will provide a summary and introduction to the content. Participants can register for the free webinar and also apply to participate in the workshops.
