FCSSBC & Volunteer BC Volunteer Management Webinar: Planning for Volunteer Engagement Now & Post-COVID
June 8 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
COVID-19 has had a profound impact on volunteer-led organizations and programs that rely on volunteers. In this webinar, offered in partnership with Volunteer BC, we will look at the different ways organizations are thinking about their volunteer programs and planning for new and returning volunteers to re-engage safely.
This webinar is supported by funding from the Community Social Services Training Fund—an initiative by the Province of British Columbia to respond to the training and development needs of those who work with some of BC’s most vulnerable people. Learn more about these other initiatives here.
This webinar will be a condensed version of the Risk Management Workshops and will provide a summary and introduction to the content. Participants can register for the free webinar and also apply to participate in the workshops.
- Tuesday, June 8th from 1:00–3:00 PM (PST) on Zoom
Registration is open to all staff and volunteers from community social service organizations of any size. It is best for those responsible for managing volunteers. The instructor has worked and volunteered with the nonprofit sector for nearly 30 years and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. She is currently an Executive Director of a non-profit in BC, a seasoned facilitator and works
with organizations to strengthen their volunteer management and governance practices.
PLEASE NOTE: This webinar will be limited to the first 200 participants who register. There is no cost to attend the webinar.
