RISK MANAGEMENT: ENGAGING VOLUNTEERS SAFELY DURING & POST COVID-19

WORKSHOPS: Risk Management

This workshop will take a high-level look at risk and risk management. As our organizations and communities navigate through the pandemic, we face new and emerging types of risk. This training focuses on how to identify and mitigate the risks in volunteer programs and volunteer-led organizations. Participants will learn how to identify and assess risk by using simple tools and real life case studies from volunteer-led organizations.

PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is limited to 35 participants. This workshop series will have more interactive elements and a deeper exploration of the topics presented in the Risk Management Webinar. It is best suited for staff or volunteers responsible for managing volunteers. The content is targeted for small- and medium-sized organizations with no (or limited) dedicated Volunteer Management departments.

Workshop Structure

This two-part workshop series will take place in 3-hour virtual synchronous over a 2 week period. Attendance in both sessions are required.

  • Tuesday, February 8th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (PST)
  • Tuesday, February 15th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (PST)
