Speed Networking – Emerging Leaders Network
November 23 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pmFree
Are you a current leader in the nonprofit sector? If so, we’d like you to consider attending this fun event!
This Speed Networking event is all about making connections between emerging leaders and current leaders in the nonprofit sector.
You’ll have six separate 10-minute conversations with an emerging leader from Volunteer Victoria’s Emerging Leaders Network (ELN)** . Each conversation you will be given a question to discuss. Then, at the end of the structured speed networking time, everyone will have a chance to network informally with each other until the end of the session.
This is your chance to learn from emerging leaders, and also their chance to learn from you. Conversations should be two-way knowledge sharing!
Don’t forget your business cards…
Tracey Gibson, coordinator of the ELN and the Manager of Learning & Training at Volunteer Victoria, will take RSVPs from 14 participants.
You will be sent an email in advance of the event with the names and organizations of the ELN participants.
**About Volunteer Victoria’s Emerging Leaders Network
The Emerging Leaders Network is Volunteer Victoria’s professional development and networking group for mid-20 to mid-40 “something” individuals working in local nonprofit organizations, either with leadership goals or already in leadership positions.
Although the Network is made up of mostly people that work in the nonprofit sector, we also welcome individuals who work in other sectors but have leadership goals in the nonprofit sector as a volunteer (ie. board member, board chair, mentor, etc.) Some of our members are consultants to the sector who also fit the age demographic.
