Free webinar: The Great Divide – Bridging Intergenerational Gaps to Fully Engage Your Volunteers
September 13 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 amFree
Need to do a better job with volunteer succession planning? Do you struggle with bridging the gap between different generations of volunteers? Our free webinar will give you new strategies to help create a more engaging volunteer program for all ages.
This workshop will consider how to successfully implement volunteer succession planning by bridging the gap between millennial and boomer volunteers. By investigating and implementing innovative methods of engagement, your organization can facilitate the transfer of knowledge and experience between the leaders of today and the leaders of tomorrow. We’ll explore how to do this by creating desirable, value-added experiences to develop strong volunteer-centred engagement programs that are aligned with the Canadian Code of Volunteer standards (CCVI) best practices. In this webinar, we will also discuss ways to engage the growing population of millennial (and younger!) volunteers such as micro-volunteer opportunities, ambassador programs, and leaders of tomorrow programs, and learn how to connect these successes to the development of a fully engaged volunteer program.
