Creating a Work Duties Process Manual

You know that day when one of your staff has called to say that they are not going to be for a few weeks because of a family emergency or illness. Everyone looks at each other with panic in their eyes because now they have to try and figure out what this person does. Join Cathy for this hour session where she will help to break down the important information that you need to capture to ensure that your organization can continue to do the work you do without too much disruption.

You will learn:

  • Basic structure of a detailed procedures page
  • Contents of a general introduction – to step by step instruction
  • Supportive documentation like screen shots

If you would like to bring an example of an activity that you would like to write procedures for please bring it along. This lunch and learn will be great for administrative assistants or anyone in your organization who is the gatekeeper for this type of information.
